春节长假期间，京郊不少目的地准备了丰富多彩的新春活动，在冬奥大餐以外为市民朋友提供丰富多彩的节日选项。第三届北京长城梅花节暨第六届响水湖长城梅花展已经于1月25日正式向游客开放。梅花展持续到3月31号，室内盆景800余株将陆续开放，室外1万多株梅花位于长城两侧，将于3月中下旬绽放。
2021年周边游热度较上年同比增长251%

A report released by China Tourism Academy and online tourism platform Mafengwo, shows that staycations are more popular among Chinese travelers, with attractions close to home seeing a 251% increase in 2021. Beijing, Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai and Hangzhou ranked the five most popular destinations in 2021, and Universal Beijing Resort was one of the five most popular destinations in 2021. The "Dual Olympic City" Beijing and Zhangjiakou, which will co-host the 2022 Winter Games, were the top two sports destinations with the highest increase in popularity in 2021.
中国旅游研究院与马蜂窝近日联合发布的《2021全球自由行报告》展示，周边游的热度较之上年同期增长251% 。北京、成都、重庆、上海、杭州成为2021旅行热度最高的五大城市，北京环球度假区是2021年旅行热度最高的五大旅游目的地之一。冰雪旅游及体育旅游持续升温， “双奥之城”北京以及即将共同承办冬奥会的张家口位列“2021年热度涨幅最高的体育旅游目的地”的前两名。
春节期间北京多家主要书店24小时营业

Four major bookstores affiliated with Beijing Publishing Group will be operating 24-hours during the Spring Festival, including Beijing Book Building, Wangfujing Bookstore, Zhongguancun Book Building and Beijing Foreign Bookstore. A series of Winter Olympics themed events will also be held in the bookstores during the holiday, including reading activities and sports themed lectures.
春节期间北京图书大厦、王府井书店、中关村图书大厦、北京市外文书店四家大型书店将实行24小时营业，四大书城将携手出版机构，联合推出系列体育运动相关书籍精彩文化活动，包括阅读分享会和图书主题讲座等。
