【用法解读】
turn off“动词+副词”短语，意为“关掉（水、电、电视、收音机等）” 。如果宾语是名词，名词可以放短语之间，也可以放短语后面；如果宾语是代词，一定要放短语之间。如：
The child can’t turn off the tap and there is water all over the floor.
